Brighter than the Sun
1 Timothy 6:16 (TPT) [16] He alone is the immortal God, living in the unapproachable light of divine glory! No one has ever seen his fullness, nor can they, for all the glory and endless authority of the universe belongs to him, forever and ever. Amen! I often remember God's holiness, glory, righteousness, and grace through the sun. The sun warms the earth, helps grow food, and provides energy, but it can also be an unapproachable light. Staring at the sun can cause permanent eye damage, even glancing at the sun too long can be extremely uncomfortable. Because the sun is so bright, we cannot take more than a quick glance at the sun without blinking or turning away. As the scripture says, God lives as an unapproachable light of divine glory. No one can look upon God's fullness. We only see God's glory pass before us without being able to look upon him.
