Brighter than the Sun

‭‭1 Timothy 6:16 (TPT‬‬) [16] He alone is the immortal God, living in the unapproachable light of divine glory! No one has ever seen his fullness, nor can they, for all the glory and endless authority of the universe belongs to him, forever and ever. Amen! ‭I often remember God's holiness, glory, righteousness, and grace through the sun. The sun warms the earth, helps grow food, and provides energy, but it can also be an unapproachable light. Staring at the sun can cause permanent eye damage, even glancing at the sun too long can be extremely uncomfortable. Because the sun is so bright, we cannot take more than a quick glance at the sun without blinking or turning away.  As the scripture says, God lives as an unapproachable light of divine glory. No one can look upon God's fullness. We only see God's glory pass before us without being able to look upon him. Caring for his creation

Luke 12:28 (NLT) And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? God cares about everything that he has created, no matter how big or small. From a seedling to a beautiful flower, God has provided rain, sun, and nutrients that each wildflower needs to thrive. Just as God has taken care of a flower, he will most certainly take care of you. Look around and begin to count your blessings to see God's provisions and care for you every day. God has given us the gift of faith. Continue to grow your faith by reading his word and deepening your knowledge of Christ. ‭‭ Romans 10:17 (NIV‬‬) [17] Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ .

Where's your focus?

Psalms 46:10 (NKJV) Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Somedays life can be so fast-paced and so busy, that it can become overwhelming. Where's your focus? It could be a job, school, family, health, achievements, etc. We can lose sight that God is constant, consistent, and present with us through these times. You can be still because he is active. You can rest because he is busy. Focus and know that he is God. By recognizing that God is already higher than anything else in the universe in terms of greatness and glory, we exalt him. Continue to exalt God through your praise and worship. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let there be light

  Genesis 1:3-5 And then God announced, “Let there be light,” and light burst forth! And God saw the light as pleasing and beautiful; he used the light to dispel the darkness. God called the light “Day,” and the darkness “Night.” And so, evening gave way to morning—the first day.  Every day there is light because God has created it. God created light not only for him to enjoy his creation, but for us; so that we are enabled to do so many things in our daily lives. I couldn't imagine living on Earth without the sun, without having a source of warmth and light.  Before light, there was only darkness, coldness, and emptiness. I couldn't imagine a world like that, and I am so thankful for God's thoughtfulness in his creation. Sunrises are such beautiful things, truly a gift from God to witness in our lives. And it was good

Genesis 1: 31 (KJV) And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold,  it was  very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. God created the earth and it was good, everything on the earth was very good. God created the deep vastness of the ocean, the millions of teeny tiny grains of sand, and the marvelous clouds in the sky. We can never truly understand the knowledge, creativity, and detail that God has put into his creation. God created the most beautiful world for us to admire.
